The RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre Trust is an independent charity which receives no financial assistance from the National Lottery or Government and is separate from the national RSPCA. We therefore raise all of our funds internally from local people, fundraising events, companies and other organisations. These funds are vital in order for us to carry on with our work and allow us to care for the number of animals here at the centre and within the community.
If you would like to become involved and help us raise funds for our animals please see our fundraising and volunteer pages to see how you can help the animal centre.
You can also help buy donating things to us as simple as duvets, towels, food and dog accessories that you no longer need. We find these are the items that we go through the most a the centre, with over thousand animals coming through our doors each year, you can imagine that is a lot of mouths to feed and muddy paws to dry!
Our annual average running costs are approx £700,000 per year. These costs include:

Our centre will shortly be embarking on a rebuild project. Over the last decade we have modernised our animal accommodation and our final phase is to build a new rehoming and education facility, improving our animal adoption and rehoming service to our local community and further afield.

We have set up three ‘wish lists’ on Amazon for dogs, cats and small animals. Here you can buy different toys, treats and equipment that will help make the animals stay with us happier and more comfortable. Continued environmental enrichment is vital for our animals as they rehabilitate.

If you buy a gift this will be delivered directly to the shelter.
We are extremely grateful for any items we receive and couldn’t be more thankful.

Last year Benny, a semi-longhaired cat came in to our care in a very sorry state. He was found roaming the streets with a badly broken leg - thankfully he was rushed to a vet before coming in to our care and his leg was amputated which would give him the best chance of survival...
