Benji is looking for an experienced owner and needs positive reward training. He is timid when he doesn’t know you but once he has built a bond with you, he is affectionate, playful and bouncy. Benji is a very sweet boy when he’s relaxed in your company and has so much to offer his new family.
Benji will panic if restrained and can be head shy with new people, such as vets or strangers. Patience and training is needed in this area.
Benji has a heart of gold but requires a gentle, confident owner, to guide him into a life he can embrace and enjoy.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
When Fred came to the shelter he was in a very sorry state, but thankfully through care and rehabilitation he made a full recovery and went on to find his forever home where he is living the best life.
